Everything was amazing from the staff that went above and beyond to meet needs and accommodations. Breakfast was included in the price which was a big plus. Very delicious and well made. The location is perfect as well, close to everything. Laura was over the top amazing. I rented a car and didn’t know my way around with the road signs or driving on the opposite side of the road. She was kind enough to let me look over at her daughter’s driving manual which helped alot. She went above and beyond

The inn offers cosy log fires, leafy gardens and period features. We had a wonderful stay at the Marquess of Exeter. We were greeted with a warm welcome and enjoyed a quiet drink in the lovely bar area. The room was very clean and beautifully presented. Breakfast was lovely. Needed to get my room key early as I was part of a wedding. This was no bother to the management who made sure I’d be able to access the room out of hours and there would be difficulties. Really couldn’t do enough for you. And also extremely friendly. Lovely stay.
The hotel was in a lovely village, gorgeous hanging baskets and flowers all around the inn. Plenty of parking. The food in the restaurant was very good, large portions, well presented and very tasty. Not too expensive either!
The "White Horse" property on Booking.com is scam page, the real inn at Empingham is "The White Horse". The new owners are Brilliant and looked after us when we turned up and they knew nothing of the booking. Somebody has set up a bogus site using photos of the inn and its postcode/address, but called the site White horse, rather than the right web site, The white horse. DANGER, BEWARE, BOOKING.COM KNOW THIS AND STILL TOOK OUR MONEY AND ALLOWED US TO GO THERE TO FIND NO BOOKING EXISTED

We’ve stayed here a few times and always enjoyed our stay, the breakfast is very good and you can enjoy a lovely curry on the evening. The manager who covered breakfast and dinner was professional, polite and really friendly, we will be back for a couple of days in September.
