We have table and chairs outside but unfortunately no veiws. Everything. This place is consistently great which is why we keep returning again and again. Stephanie has everything running to perfection. The location is brilliant for walking in the area. The accomodation itself has everything on the doorstep. Restaurant, pubs, breakfast cafe and the shops in the main street.

The location in a tiny village of about 100 people was perfect - just beautiful! The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, and dinner the evening before was exceptional.

Guest rooms at Bird In Bush Elsdon are equipped with a seating area. This place is fantastic. Little pub in a small village in the National Park. Short drives to Hadrians wall or the Northumberland coast and the pretty towns of Otterburn and Bellingham. Beautifully decorated rooms with private bathrooms. Free parking out front on street. Lovely little bar with friendly staff and locals. Breakfast room and restaurant/cafe is gorgeous and a decent breakfast is included in the room price. It's the quintessential cozy, 'old England' that one thinks of when wanting to holiday here. We love it. (Notes: only here two nights so we didn't think about finding out whether there is anywhere to do laundry, and of course there are no self-catering facilities, although apparently there is a BBQ, but we chose to eat out so didn't ask to use it)

My friend and I were ever so pleased with the way we were welcomed and looked after. The rooms are renovated and beautifully furnished and very comfortabel. Nothing one would miss. The food in the Pub is very tasty and good and the breakfast is great also and so are the views you get for free. The Gun sits right in the country, the views are spectacular. I will certainly recommend "THE GUN" to my friends and family.

You can play billiards and darts at this 4-star inn, and the area is popular for fishing and cycling. The hotel was spotlessly clean and recently refurbished. It is listed in a gorgeous village, close (by car) to Hadrians Wall attractions. Included breakfast is wonderful and the pub restaurant downstairs has good food. It's small and fairly quiet, and a good place to share travel tips with other guests. We loved it!

Excellent room and great location for visiting Alnwick Castle.
