Clean comfortable room and conference rooms. Nice amenities (shampoo, body wash). We had a super spacious room it was lovely! So much free parking spaces! The bed was super comfortable and the room well sound proofed, it was quiet even though outside our windows was the car park. Easy to navigate TV unlike some hotels. And dinner at the restaurant was pretty good too. Cheaper to pay breakfast at reception! We had such a comfortable night sleep.
The room was vast! I honestly didn't expect it to be that big. I understand it was an Executive Room which was a nice upgrade on the standard double room that I originally booked. It was very comfortable indeed so I had a good sleep. The restaurant was busy when I visited it for dinner. I was able to obtain a table after waiting on a waiter to clear and clean it. Reception was very helpful with a request about breakfast. In the end, it was not necessary but the fact they bent over backwards was appreciated.
Dinner and breakfast.
Dinner on first night was adequate but not exceptional, on the second night as I was attending a funeral wake at this hotel, I tried to book a table for dinner at lunchtime, but was told all tables were fully booked which means there was no priority policy for residents
Dinner was excellent on both days. The beer choice was very good.
Excellent service from very friendly and helpful staff. Good food was served at breakfast and dinner. We had a large, very clean and comfortable room. Lovely rural location and plenty of parking space.
It was easy to check-in and check-out and was easy to find near the Centre of the village. Skipped dinner at the hotel as there was an amazing choice in Quorn. The breakfast was very good - enjoyed our full English.
had dinner that was okay, with a standard pub menu
Staff are lovely breakfast and dinner was fantastic
We arrived after a walk, the room was ready earlier than we were expected, clean and well appointed. We had an amazing lunch, highly recommend the rustic lunch, great value for money, and absolutely delicious. We also had dinner, again, amazing food, and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was friendly and hospitable. We will revisit!
