The location is essentially right in the middle of Howden next to everything, with a convenience store opposite which is great for picking up a sandwich in the morning before work. Downstairs is a pub that shows Sky Sports and serves drinks until late which is great if you're into that.

Beautiful little guest house in a great location. The room was spotless, and all amenities provided. Breakfast was exceptionally good.
Location and easy parking. Secure and friendly. It is a B&B. Guest houses usually have a guest lounge but in an older building space a premium.

Steve and Tony looked after us very well. I have never stayed in a guest house before and will definitely return to South Lodge. Everything was well thought out in the bedroom and breakfast was yummy.
Greyfriars guest house was excellent, clean, tidy and everything you need. We was in a deluxe room with a shower which had towels,shampoo,shower gel if you had forgotten yours. Debs and Stuart was very welcoming and I would like to thank you for a lovely stay
Everything! This was a last minute booking after being let down by another spot, and we only wish we'd booked to stay here from the beginning! They were so accommodating, helpful and friendly. The room was gorgeous, so sweet and spotlessly clean. The location was perfect-we were attending a concert at Brid Spa and it was an easy ten minute walk. Couldn't fault it, it's how every guest house should strive to be. Thanks so much for saving our holiday!!
Everything, from when we arrived to the minute, we left. We have stayed in many hotels and guest houses around the UK and Europe over the years, and I can honestly say the Pig Inn/Peppered Pig is one of the best places we have had the pleasure to stop in.
The room was great and the en suite was massive, the TV was set up with a fire stick so I could port all my accounts straight to it. But the winner was Pauline, such a lovely woman who made every effort to make our stay special. I would recommend her guest house to anyone and will be returning to stay again soon .
