I will definitely recommend staying there and I will be returning in the future.

Just a 20-minute drive from historic Durham, The Royal Oak is a family-run hotel offering a traditional restaurant, a bar, and free Wi-Fi throughout. The hotel has wonderful views of the County Durham countryside. A lovely place. Friendly staff. The family room was large very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed for our stay after a wedding near by. The breakfast was really good. Will definitely return again to try the food and spend more time here. Many thanks
