Location was amazing!!! The cottage is rustic and gave me the unique experience I was hoping for in terms of an authentic Peak District stone cottage stay. The beds were very comfortable and the central heating worked well; there was also enough hot water for all of us.
The room was great, Quiet, Comfortable, Warm and well equipped. The breakfast was a bit hit & miss on one morning, but the other 2 were ok. Dinner on the 2 evenings we ate there was very good.
We love staying at ‘Coaching Inns’ places - the ambience, decor and staff are always great. Location in centre of Bakewell is excellent.
Jayne and I loved our stay at the beautiful Four Seasons Guest House. The large rooms were very comfy and the views from the window were wonderful. It is stumbling distance from some lovely taverns and cafés, so there’s plenty of choice for everyone. We loved the castle, the many caverns and breathtaking walks in the surrounding area of Castleton. We look forward to visiting again soon.
Cannot praise the entire package at The Little Mill Inn High enough. Lovely traditional rustic bar and eating area with large modern rooms. There is a very relaxed friendly atmosphere. The setting is beautiful and tranquil. Only had breakfast but that was excellent and ample. Its a must for me when I visit the peak district now
The room was lovely. Clean and modern but with a rustic vibe. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the meals at the Inn- especially the spiced red lentil soup! Delicious!
Beautiful house, very stylish. Little extras make you welcome. Great location to get to lots of sites. Owners very informative before arriving and lots of details on site. Internet great and good Tv options after a long day out (films etc). Highly recommend. Parking on road, with little street opposite for great parking. Nice little village with couple good eateries. The Tavern - lovely small pub serving good beer/wine and pub grub. Gate Inn, bit Chef & Brewer, good food and service.
Gorgeous historic inn. Fabulous location for walks. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent and plenty of choice. Our room was a good size and had lovely windows looking out to the beer garden.
The location was perfect, lovely walks on your doorstep. Very well equipped, clean and comfortable house for a family/friends get together. A Christmas tree was up in the lounge which was a lovely touch. Two pubs close by, the Tavern, a 5 minute walk and The Gate Inn, which served excellent food, 15 minute walk away.
Lovely historic inn in the middle of countryside - food was good and accommodation was perfect - would recommend. Good walks on doorstep
