what’s not to like about this lovely hotel?! first of all, we liked very much the idea that it belongs to the community of Gartmore , thus giving it a sense of familiarity and warmth. rooms spacious and very clean, hearty breakfast and a nice, cozy pub to unwind! the manager of the hotel told us about the history of the place and how it ended being sold to the people of Gartmore and we will definitely return!

Very homely, clean & extremely comfortable for 2 couples. Location was excellent & close to attractions, pubs & restaurants. Lesley was a great host & provided us with tour tips and excellent recommendations for dinner @ 2 nearby pubs.
Dinner was available in the hotel along with a nice bar. Breakfast buffet also on offer. Food was standard fare.
We stayed at Braeside on the first night of our walk on the West Highland Way. This guest house is well situated in the centre of Drymen. It was warm, very clean, well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast at the Drymen Inn was also excellent. The owner of Braeside was extremely friendly and helpful and she had loads of local knowledge.
The ideal Bnb because of beautiful warm decor and the most delightful hosts! We chose this place to stop during a road trip after driving through Glen Coe and before seeing Loch Lomond the next day. Colin and Veronica make you feel right at home and we enjoyed our conversations very much! They are very attentive and communication before our stay about where to eat dinner in the area was very simple. Thank you for a memorable stay at Craigbank Guest House (we took notes for our own future Bnb)!

The breakfasts were truly excellent and our room although small was very comfortable. Our room, toilet, shower , towels, linen were all immaculately clean. Francesca and Stefano who own the Lubnaig Guest House were a delightful couple and gave us great service. The evening before we left we decided to have dinner there and what a lovely meal we had !!!!!!!. We would highly recommend this guest house.
The location is amazing! It’s just so beautiful and tranquil. The room was comfortable and like a traditional farm guest house. The hosts were lovely and looked after us well. We ate dinner at the bunkhouse down the road and the guy there was great. I’d definitely recommend going.

This was our first visit to Scotland. Stefano and Francesca were very welcoming, friendly and informative . The Guest House is beautiful and our room was lovely and very well equipped. Dining room fantastic and tables well spaced to provide privacy and adhered to social distancing. We had gourmet dinner on the second night --- this was absolutely delicious and the best we had during our 2 weeks holiday in Scotland. Exceptional overall.
