Hungerford
Set in a former Coaching Inn, The Three Swans Hotel, Hungerford, Berkshire boasts traditional charm and period features. It is 100 metres from the Kennet and Avon Canal, and has a restaurant, bar and outdoor eatery. I recently stayed at the Three Swans Hotel in Hungerford, Berkshire and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, the staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. The decor was traditional yet modern, giving the room a cozy and inviting feel. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches such as a complimentary bottle of water and biscuits. The hotel's location is perfect, right in the heart of Hungerford and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the train station. Despite being in the town center, the room was quiet and I had a great night's sleep. The highlight of my stay was definitely the food at the hotel's restaurant. I had both breakfast and dinner there and was blown away by the quality and taste of the dishes. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and everything was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend trying the steak at dinner, it was cooked to perfection. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at the Three Swans Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hungerford. The staff, room, and food were all top-notch, making for a memorable stay. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Excellent location, best English dinner ever!
Good price, generous and tasty dinner, good breakfast included. Bed comfortable. Room clean. Tea and coffee making facilities available. Shower up to scratch. Towels clean and nice. Staff really helpful and nice. Convenient location for petrol, basic provisions, etc.
Nice country Inn, very friendly, attentive staff. It has a good atmosphere as it was busy, has a superb beer garden and it was a nice Sunday afternoon. We had dinner which was freshly cooked and good value, abd the breakfast was excellent. Large room with good facilities, we were at the front overlooking the road but as it very quiet didn’t bother our sleep
The property is stunning with no detail overlooked. Breakfast was fantastic and Francis in particular took wonderful care of us one evening over dinner on the Terrace overlooking the beautiful grounds. We will be back!
Overall, a good experience for the price point. The hotel is in good condition and have set up nicely for families in terms of their buffet style dinner / breakfast. It means that waiting for food is very short - important with hungry children. The dinner was £50 for two adults and two children (one under five free) and that seemed very good value given it was pretty decent quality and plenty of options. Nice swimming pool with access early enough to go before breakfast.
The Queen's Arms is situated north of the M4 at East Garston: leave the motorway at exit 14 and take A338 northwards, turning left at Great Shefford towards Lambourn. It presents a somewhat rustic appearance - a country pub with extensions. However the rooms are comfortable and the cooking is very good - dinner and breakfast were much enjoyed.
Despite renovations it has retained its rustic coach house feel. Room 6 was fab: bed was flipping huge! The chef deserves a medal: my dinner and breakfast were among the best I’ve had. The food alone tempts me back.
Atmosphere, ambience, location, rustic look, delicious evening dinner.
