Peggy and Paul were both so friendly, kind and welcoming . The view from the top bedroom was gorgeous. We highly recommend dining there, it is great value and Peggy's truly exquisite food , the presentation,, the lovely terrace dining and Paul's perfect hosting during dinner and his wine knowledge were exceptionally good.. The swimming pool was a real bonus on a hot day . Here you will find everything you need for a lovely stay in a stunning location..
Charming hosts. Excellent dinner and excellent value.
We were able to park right outside the front door of the hotel on the street which was a bonus. The hotel had reserved us a space in their small car park but it turned out that we didn't need it. Our rooms were large enough with a decent sized bathroom and nicely equipped if a little dated. The man on reception who greeted us was friendly and helpful and recommended a lovely restaurant for dinner and kindly made a reservation for us.
Surprised, this is a new looking Hotel with amazing Staff. Rooms were smallish but beautifully clean and tidy, bathroom was great, loved th pivoting mirror! Restaurant for evening dinner was lovely and breakfast outstanding.
It was perfect for the wedding we were attending few miles away. Rustic and peaceful. Weather wasn’t great think we would have enjoyed our time more if we could have sat outside and had some walks. Great shower. The shops recommended by Madeline were good and she spoke excellent English which helped.
The Dinner and breakfast was superb. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The Chef clearly has passion and this showed in the presentation and taste. We also ordered a take away picnic for our journey and was excellent value for money and far better than any service station sandwich. Very friendly service. I would highly recommend
quiet place, value for money, excellent dinner, interesting location, hospitality
Very passionate hosts. Serge and Sara committed to make a perfect stay. Served a delicious dinner and breakfast, using fresh ingredients from their garden.
The tranquility, the welcome from Ruud & Chiara, the dinner (a fabulous cod dish), sitting on our private terrace sipping wine in the sunshine, the conversation after dinner and a very restful and comfortable night's sleep. Breakfast was good and Ruud was extremely helpful after we left some items behind. A wonderful experience and well worth the trip to get there. If you do decide to book here, make time to visit Aubazines, we didn't so will have to return 😁.
A beautiful historic house with a wonderful host Sylvie. The dinner Sylvie cooked for us was Michelin star quality. A lovely lady who welcomed her into her wonderful home.
