Rautuskylä
Majatalo Jurtta is located just 15 km north of the popular ski resort Levi. This guesthouse features free sauna, WiFi and parking. Kittilä town and airport is a 30 minutes' drive away.
Rooms at Majatalo Jurtta are simply decorated with a neutral décor and offer a TV and fridge. Bathroom facilities are shared and guests also have access to a well-equipped kitchen. Bed linen and towels are included.
The host is by far the best encounter with a Finnish person ever. He was so welcoming and made us a beautiful fire we talked for hours about history and what not. You'll not have any regrets coming here. I cannot recommend this place enough the sauna was free and very nice
Ranua
Featuring a private beach, lakeside sauna and shared terrace, this inn is located by Lake Ranua in Southern Lapland, 4 km from Ranua Zoo.
Arctic Guesthouse & Igloos offers traditional standard and economy rooms as well as glass igloos. The rooms feature modern comforts such as a microwave, refrigerator and tea/coffee maker.
Everything! If you are lucky enough, you can see auroras without getting out of your igloo!
Inari
Guest rooms in the inn are fitted with a coffee machine. The private bathroom is equipped with a bidet, free toiletries and a hairdryer. At Kuukkeli Apartments Inari each room is fitted with bed linen and towels. Location and facilities were great. No breakfast provided but I knew that.
The room was very clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. We had the drying rack in our room and we used it to dry wet clothes. The location was great for ski in and out but you had to take the gondola to get to town (or drive around which was about 8 min). If you didn't have a ski pass, you had to buy a pass daily to use the gondola down. I was the only non-skier of the group so I had to buy a pass each day to go to dinner.
Very helpful, kind and friendly staff with great knowledge of surrounding area and possible activities to do. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Very relaxing lounge and sauna with the best view ever. Owner of the hotel is also very experienced professional and you can feel her passion for the work she is doing here. I can strongly recommend to visit this hotel and I would like to go there again. Best experience with staff I ever had in my life.
The view from the lake is great. The bathroom is good. It is clean. They open the roads for car and walk. The breakfast in the main hotel is good and also the dinner. The staff in the main hotel’s restaurant was kind and helpful.
The premises are really nice with a real Finnish touch. Breakfast was outstandingly good too
Very beautiful apartament with every facilities. It is located in a central position near supermarket, bus station, city center and especially to the Santa Claus bus stop. It’s very clean, warm and the sauna is fantastic. We lived there for 4 days and Minna, the owner has been very kind. She picked up us from the train station and she explained us all the things in the flat. She gave us some usefull advices. We surely come back in Valkea!
The hotel was well located and it was a great place to stay. The food and the Finnish team was great 👍 👌 will be coming back soon
The location is great with the price that we paid. . They provide simple breakfast that is just nice . We love the place as we book the family room .the toilet is just beside us and separate from the room which is cleaner . We love the kitchen as well as we can buy food and microwave. Had a few dinning table .hot water .we will book again if we are back to Rovaniemi .
The pyramid is very nice indeed with everything you need, the breakfast is great, the dinner is delicious. The park itself is incredibly well done, with attention to detail, design and good taste. I really like the elf stone and the little houses: gingerbread, school and the wise elf. The coffee shop where you also eat is decorated in a way that feels cozy, with good music and friendly personnel. It was worth it coming here, it was our best stay in Finland.
