We highly recommend staying in beautiful Sierra Alisos for several days to fully enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, the surrounding nature, the excellent food, the interesting conversations by the evening fireplace, the daytrips to the surrounding area, the nice rooms and last but not least the wonderful atmosphere created by the warm hosts! Hacienda Santa Ana
Featuring a garden overlooking the Pasochoa Volcano, Hacienda Santa Ana is set in a charming house combining modern and antique design. It is located 7 km from Cotopaxi National Park. WiFi is available in public areas. We really enjoyed our stay at the Hacienda Santa Ana. It is perfectly located and close to Cotopaxi Park. There is not much around in the area, which means you have calm and quiet the entire time. We were extremely fortunate that we were the only guests, which means that we had the entire place to ourselves. The staff on-site was super helpful and showed us around the area, introduced us to the animals on the farm, and provided us with advice, rubber boots, and great hospitality overall. Food options are limited, however, we enjoyed the simple yet tasty dishes that were served for both lunch and dinner. Breakfast was included in the price and had a good variety. Please note that you need a taxi or private car to reach the Hacienda as it is in the middle of nowhere. (Which is probably the biggest selling point!) - Speaking of selling point, this accommodation is higher priced than most in the area, but it was so worth it!
Zumbagua

Free private parking is available on site. Very romantic, traditional house, equipped with lots of love for details. The garden is amazing! Our room was very spacious and had a chimney, which is very cosy - especially when it‘s cold outside. Included was a very rich breakfast with fruit, eggs, pastry and juice. We felt very much at home!

This renovated Colonial house in the historic district of picturesque Latacunga offers elegant décor and free Wi-Fi. Rooms have balconies with views of the charming central courtyard and Spanish gallery. It is a very beautiful place in the Center of the town. The staff us very helpful, very friendly and kind. I definitely recommend staying there!

Beautiful old hacienda. Nice walk with horses and great views above the hacienda. We experienced problems with our credit cards at the time of payment. The lady at the reception proved very friendly, patient and helpful.

Very friendly family running the property, currently they are constructing a really large and beautiful pool, jacuzzi, Turkish steam room and sauna in a separate property adjacent their house. We enjoyed the dinner, especially the carrot soup. The owner shared local wine with us and showed us videos and additional activities in Sigchos.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the suite which was great with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. We had a great view from one of the bedroom windows, and our room was just feet from the breakfast dining area. The breakfast each day was great with a choice of eggs three ways and different fruit and juice from day to day. The hotel staff welcomed us in at the very early hour of 4:00 am, and we were able to have a good rest before beginning our first day in Quito.
Well equipped and nice flat, quiet building with really lovely staff (security guards). Neighbourhood had plenty of services: copy shops, SIM card retailers, corner shops, and some places for food. Owner was responsive via phone for troubles with payment at the beginning. I was also allowed to check out a couple of hours later so I could leave for the airport directly from the building, rather than having to find a place to wait around with all my luggage.
Lovely property and lovely hosts. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and we arranged to have a packed lunch for our third day of hiking for just $3 which was also decent. The hostel has some basic gym equipment and a yoga area too along with a sauna which were all great facilities. Would highly recommend staying here! 😊
The rooms were spacious and clean, and I like having easy access to tea and coffee any time during the day. The hosts were knowledgeable bout the area, giving practical advice about our hike to Quilotoa Lake. Breakfast and dinner was also good.
Cute little family run accommodation. Perfect for finishing the Quilatoa Loop. Dinner and breakfast were great - tasty and plenty of food. Room was large, clean and had a fireplace inside the room in case it got cold.
Such a wonderful hotel with extremely nice owner/staff. The hotel was beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. Great breakfast and dinner at the restaurant downstairs was awesome!! Highly recommend!! ❤️❤️
