Really nice hotel with amazing paintings! She prepared a really delicious meal for us too, surprised us with decoration for our honeymoon and turned on the whirlpool just for us. Everything was great and it's a good spot to start to the quiltao Lagune and rest when it's raining.

The staff was very helpful to find local guide and find restaurants.

Beautiful old hacienda. Nice walk with horses and great views above the hacienda. We experienced problems with our credit cards at the time of payment. The lady at the reception proved very friendly, patient and helpful.

An oasis of tranquility with a beautiful inner courtyard right at the edge of old town Quito. Spacious room with a huge and comfy bed. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Super breakfast on the rooftop.
Amazing location walking distance to innumerable historic sites. The room had a beautiful loft for our kids and was extremely comfortable. The staff (Karla and Juan) were flexible with our chaotic schedules and extremely kind.
A beautiful house in the centre of Quito, a special and unique place to stay. The staff were fantastic and organised laundry and transfers to the airport for me. Dinner was available on site and was lovely. Would highly recommend staying here!
An exceptional experience from beginning to end.
We had a great stay at cloud forest during our 3 day trekking on the quilotoa loop. For us it was the best Hostal during the loop. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They have a nice outdoor area and the dinner and breakfast was delicious. They provided lunch packets for our trek and the sandwiches were so tasty. Thanks to the lovely team. We would definitely recommend to stay with Cloud forest.
The location of the hostel is great, right across from the viewpoint of the lake. Rooms are basic but comfortable, the wood stove is great (and necessary, because it gets cold at night!). We had dinner and breakfast and enjoyed the simple, home-cooked food. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and helped us to organize a taxi to Latacunga for a decent price.
Our host, James, went above and beyond to make our visit exceptional. The restaurant staff were also terrific as was the food. We had excellent dinner of sea bass, ceviche, etc. Best breakfast with amazing breads and croissants, omelettes, etc. Room well apportioned with excellent bed and shower.
The hotel was well staffed and secured during the January 9-10 civil unrest / martial law episode. Staff was very helpful, and gave advice for our onward travels. Lobby restaurant and bar was a nice place to have dinner and a few drinks while we adjusted our travel plans.
Lovely staff, pretty back garden which is extremely rare in Centro Historico Quito, excellent breakfast, very good dinner if ordered in advance. Easy to walk to historic sites. Otto the dog is perfect gentleman - happy to share rib steak bone with him v
