They truly went the extra mile to make sure their guests are comfortable

Delicious dinner and breakfast in the restaurant.
Very big room with good wifi connection. Free parking if you do self-parking. Good breakfast and dinner buffets, although quite pricey, as always in Quebec. The lobby is really impressive with its 6 fireplaces and huge volume. Interesting wood architecture with a roof culminating at 25 meters. The hotel is ideally located along the Outaouais river, in a very large parc with old trees. Charming, even in the winter months. The Omega Park with its dozens of wild animals walking free around the cars is just 5 minutes away from the hotel.
It was modern, clean and comfortable. The Mr. And I stayed there after a full day at Spa Nordic. It was about 15min away from the spa. We had a late dinner in the hotel restaurant which was very nice too. All in all great stay and good value for the money.
The breakfast was superb as were the hostesses Denise and Becky. These 2 women made our stay most enjoyable! They couldn't do enough for us. Loved our stay at Spruceholme Inn as well as the local history.
Small inn. Great value. This is really just a small motel style, but with a flight of stairs.

Jodi the hostess was amazing! She even gave us her cell # to call at anytime. Breakfast was delicious and fast and a full breakfast included with homemade bread and homemade raspberry jam! Rooms were quaint and rustic - timeless!!
The Wakefield Mill is a well-preserved historic inn in a spectacular and peaceful location, nestled on the falls of a small river, surrounded by beautiful federal parkland and close to small, historic village along a river leading to Ottawa. Very serene, calm and restful, the Mill also has excellent spa facilities and two excellent restaurants, overlooking the falls which are lit up at night. Highly recommend for travellers who want a peaceful getaway in a beautiful and historic location, only 40 minutes by car from Ottawa.
