The hotel was a pleasant surprise. It's only 2 blocks from Byward Market and its many restaurants and bars. But, Byward Blue Inn is in a quiet street. Less than 10 minutes walk from Rideau subway station. And walking distance to the bus stop as well. We highly appreciated the upgrade to a room on the 4th floor with a balcony. A very pleasant space to enjoy a sunny day ! Complete kitchen. Spacious room and bathroom. Great buffet breakfast with hot food as well. We highly recommend !
A good basic+ level hotel within a fairly strenuous walk to the falls, but I made it and I’m a pensioner ( out of season so the funicular railway was closed). In season it would be easy for anyone to get there. The room was large and clean as was the bathroom. The staff were friendly at all times.
Holiday Inn Express Brampton has always been my get away home for yrs. I LOVE IT THERE.
The innkeeper was very accommodating when I realized there had been a booking error (through Booking.com) and switched rooms for me at no extra charge. They also brought me bowls and spoons for the breakfast I had brought for me the next morning. It was right on the main street so it was easy to get to everything. The room was very clean, the innkeeper and guests always wore their masks appropriately and it was clear they adhered to the Covid policies.
Simple rooms but very clean and comfortable. Motel location very good on the main street and very close to the waterfront. We stayed over Christmas time so all the restaurants in the area were closed but the innkeeper arranged a microwave in our room which was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
