All)) This is a wonderful apartment with a stunningly equipped kitchen, shower and toilet! A separate charm is the balcony-terrace, which is located with an exit from the kitchen! Excellent chairs and a table, where you can have breakfast or dinner outdoors.
Our host Elly was fantastic, most welcoming, we arrived fairly late, but checked in without any issue. Place Is impecable, everything is super clean and neat. Kitchen is equiped with all kind of amenities, and our host pointed us to a local tavern to grab a dinner. We were travelling with two children, and we got a real full night sleep, beds are super comfy. I can not recommend this place enough.
Great place, already stayed here twice and for sure not for the last time. Friendly staff, comfy beds, very very good breakfest included (a lot of options), great selection of traditional meals for dinner and outstanding saunas (for such a small pension).
Adorable quaint historic Inn that has been beautifully furnished and decorated. Every corner is an interior designers dream! Great location, we walked everywhere. Restaurant had the BEST Weiner Schnetzel with pumpkin seeds. Lovely lovely!
The breakfast was very basic, not sure what people are raving about. It's mainly a cold breakfast buffet with the only choice for eggs being boiled. The guest house is situated above a butcher, and run by them, which was not clear in the description. So if you are a non-meat eater it is very unappealing. Also when they, oddly enough, grill meat in the inner courtyard which all the rooms are facing towards, the stench of grilled meat can be nausiating. Overall the staff was polite and the room was clean.
The owners were very kind and open to discuss almost any need we had. This kind of bed and breakfast accomodation is ideal as you might enjoy really good breakfast inhouse (they are even able to serve gluten free food on demand!) and lunch/dinner at any restaurant elsewhere - having lunch on a top of a ski slope is really exciting. The pension is located nearby ski lift/slope thus it was very easy to access skiing area and to transfer to any place that Schladming area offers. Will come back again soon!
It was a real pleasure to stay at Pension Hofweyer, the accommodation has very welcoming and warm atmosphere. We would love to come again. The rooms were big and well equiped. Breakfast and especially the dinner were amazing as all food was home cooked and delicious. For dinner we had salad, soup, main course and desert and all courses were big and tasty. I also have to thank the owner, that she waited for us with the dinner on the day of our arrival, because we had difficulties due to a snow calamity.
Very warm and nice welcome, with smiles and efficiency. The farm looks very nice and the pension itself is looking very nice. The room was very clean and also very large, with a nice balcony. The breakfast was simply perfect and, as we arrived not so early on the previous day, we also enjoyed a decent short dinner with simple food but well prepared and tasty :-) A very short stay as we were on the road and wanted only to have a one night stop, but could and should definitely have been longer !
Very traditional very friendly Gasthof. A real insight into Austrian mountain hospitality. We had the half board option, dinner was served at 18.30 and food was very plentiful. They tried hard to accommodate vegetarian preferences which was very kind. A lovely experience and a privilege to stay in a proper family run pension.
