Set in Gjirokastër, 45 km from Zaravina lake, Palorto Hotel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. This 3-star inn offers a tour desk and luggage storage space. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. Great mixture of the atmosphere of a traditional house and brand new modern hotels. Next to museums and a few mins walk from the castle and old bazaar. Nice and quiet garden. Very welcoming and helpful staff, delicious and plentyful breakfast. The cool air of the old house and the comfy bed made my night sleep perfect. I wish I could have stayed longer.
Location right next to the center Delicious breakfast and very good and cheap dinner served at the hotel restaurant Very quiet Helpful host All very clean Modern and spacious room
Amazing location on the hill with a great view. Lovely newly renovated house, modern facilities with charm and friendly and helpful hosts. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding! Delicious and fresh food.
We were made to feel so welcome by Lenora and her family. Everything had been thought about. We arrived very hungry and breakfast was made for us. The landscape surrounding the guest house was incredible. The town of Gjirokaster and the castle, beyond are the mountains. And their own garden laden with fruit trees. We had an evening meal There and the food was delisious, stuffed peppers, meatball soup, rice balls, salad, we had a feast. It was everything we could ask for and more.
Edmond and his family were the perfect hosts. The guest house is located close to the bazaar and castle. The room is great with fabulous views over the town. The breakfast is outstanding, located on the top deck, views everywhere and with plenty of homemade food and lots of variety. You can also have dinner at the guesthouse. Beautifully cooked authentic Albanian food. Edmond was our guide for a day taking us hiking to waterfalls and gorges. We highly recommend this place to stay.
Keli and his family are very nice, they made us feel very welcomed from the start. It does not feel like a hotel, you get a very hommie feeling and exceptional service. There is an option to have dinner at the guest house and try some home made traditional food cooked by Jevi (Keli's mum), delicious.. Breakfast is very good with a very nice view. Good wifi. They offer you a pick up and drop off from the bus station. Definately recommend.
It is a family run guest house and the family are extremely nice and hospitable. Edmond helped us with anything he could. They offer breakfast and dinner - which were both amazing, home cooked and very special. The guest house is very nice, awesome view from our terrace, super clean and cozy room, very nice calm and relaxing vibe, very close to the bazar and the castle.
The guest House Is located in the historical centre close to the main attractions. Excellent service and food. The owner is super kind and he cooked us traditional food for dinner. The breakfast is amazing with homemade jams and delicious omelette. All was perfect, beyond expectation!
The location of Kore Guest House was excellent and it was easy to reach by foot all the attractions in Gjirokastër. The room was comfortable and cool. We ate dinner cooked by Matilda’s mum and it was really delicious. Breakfast was also great and it was really lovely to eat out on the terrace.
perfect location, very nice family. a single night is too little. take an extra night for hikes in the Valley. You should definitely buy dinner at the guest house - best and largest meal we have had on this vacation :-)
The host family is very welcoming. The rooms have a rustic style with the modernity ; and very clean. The location is perfect to the old town visit, and very quiet! The view on the roof top is very beautiful! We stayed 2 days and had dinners at the guesthouse the both evenings because the food is very good and generous. For us it was the best dinners of our trip in Albania: we recommend it! We spent nice days at Mele house ! Thank you to Edmond and its family!
