We had an issue at checkin, our room being upstairs when my parents couldn’t walk upstairs and all the suitcases we had. But the lady at the reception with the manager managed to sort it out, and resolve the problem. Thank you!
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Nice little hotel, owned by a polite couple. We love to support small businesses, and that's one reason why we booked the Anchor Pointe Inn. Our room was tiny but adequate.
Anchor Pointe Inn was a perfect place to stay prior to boarding a Cruise. It is only minutes to the Cruise Port that serves LA.
A mom and pop operation that is simple, clean and at a fair price. They have free coffee and use of a microwave in the main lobby. There are incredible Mexican restaurants plus shopping within walking distance if you don't mind the locals. My friend and I enjoyed the town. All the prices in this community are overall very reasonable.
We would definitely stay here again.

The staff was amazing and friendly. They waited for me when I had to check in late and still made sure to accommodate me and even opened the gate so I could park after hours. They showed me around and made me feel welcome! The inn is kind of set up like college dorms tbh and I wasn’t expecting that when I arrived but I got accustomed quickly and settled in. The place is cute and pretty cozy and I enjoyed having my lunch in the lobby. Plus it is extremely close to downtown Long Beach, the Pike & Queen Mary!
It was so clean and so nicely decorated. The staff was so sweet and accommodating. Even from the beginning the staff would communicate with me weeks in advance and make sure I had the room I needed and wanted. They also sent recommendations for the area. The beds were actually very comfortable and the rooms were cleaner than most rooms I’ve stayed in for a lot more. I loved the price and the location!!
Everything was nice. It’s a good mid priced hotel. Nice location for going on a cruise. Uberxl was under $15! Denny’s right next door for dinner and the hotel has breakfast in the mornings. They have all covid precautions in place.
Exceptional accommodations! Anchor Pointe Inn was beyond clean, positively immaculate, and security was a priority. The proprietors, Jonathan, and another young man, whose name I do not know, were extremely helpful. I stayed twice at Anchor Pointe Inn during my trip to California, and I fully intend to stay again upon my return to California. I extend a special thanks to Jonathan for going above and beyond in answering my questions, helping me, and being so honest!
