Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Rodeway inn saved us while we got scammed by our original accommodation. The size of the room was huge for two people and there was a fridge, microwave and coffee maker there which was great.
The improvements to the Inn are great. We have gone to the SC Inn since the early 1990’s. The bbq area, the restaurant and the overall facilities are great and it is nice to see. However, our room was one of the rooms that has not been updated and it desperately can use the face lift.
This was the first time staying at the Calafia Inn. We enjoyed our stay. In a way it was still retro but with an updated flare. The room was clean and cozy.

Location was great and the room was super clean. Stayed in a suite and the price wasn’t bad at all! Front staff were excellent and gave us some great tips for dinner and things to do! Absolutely loved the stay!

The place was clean, cute and comfortable.
There is some street traffic noise to be expected, but that quieted down at night.
I highly recommend Calafia Inn and would like to stay there again when I am visiting San Clemente.
Casablanca Inn was a lovely place to stay! Our room was absolutely enormous and very comfortable. The location is fantastic- walking distance from lots of great cafes, coffee shops and restaurants (do NOT miss Los Molinos Brewing Company!), and you can even see the ocean from the proprty. Staff was helpful, and checkin was easy. Definitely recommend!
I actually didn't request a quiet room as you stated in your last question but our room was very quiet. I requested a ground level room with no stairs which we received & appreciated very much! We always love our stays at San Clemente Inn! We have stayed in the junior suite many times. The room is always very comfortable and very clean. We love that we can prepare our own meals which makes the vacation more affordable for us. We love the beach at the pier & spend all our time there. The beach is our "Happy Place"
