Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The charming historical inn, uniquely decorated room, sumptuous pancake breakfast, afternoon wine and cake, great packed lunch for Cumberland Island, perfect location…..but, best of all, Mardja, the most incredibly delightful innkeeper!
We were warmly greeted by the owner, she explained about the Inn, and how things work (keys, breakfast, etc.).
The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious.
Inn is located right in town - walking distance to everything. The hostess was great - making reservations for us for Cumberland Island and for our picnic lunch as well as suggesting great places to eat.
Inn is rather eclectic with lots of interesting artifacts about.
Our initial room was fine, but after dinner we heard loud music coming up from a patio beneath. us. when I asked the receptionist about the noise, she decided to move our room to another lovely room even tho we had used some of the amenities. We were delighted and greatful.
Location is good for a visit to Cumberland Island. Right next to Winn Dixie and CVS. Breakfast variety, though no eggs or other hot food except waffles and microwavable biscuit. Clean room, hot shower, and Wifi works well.
