    It was very confusing as the Homewood Suites and Hampton Inn shared the same building. One lobby was on the 1 st floor and the other on the second. I have never seen this before. The elevator on the parking floor I parked at was not in service, so my 78-year-old mother and myself had to walk up a parking garage ramp to access a working elevator. One in the room, it was average and the free breakfast was a plus, but food was just ok.

    The outside of the property and surroundings are just beautiful set near a golf course and gorgeous brick VA buildings with white columns very stately looking regal and formal however, the outside is just a facade because the interiors are in dire need of updating and a good cleaning. The restaurant tavern was good and fair prices and open until 10pm every night!

    During my stay at Sleep Inn, I enjoyed the the comfortable bed and shower the most! The water stayed hot and the water pressure was magnificent! The room was also spacious was able to put all my materials up and out the way. I have been to many terrible Sleep Inns probably the best one I stayed at this far.

    The place was super clean and very well appointed - we cooked dinner one night and found everything we needed in terms of cooking implements, dishes, etc. Bathrooms were well stocked with toiletries and towels. Plenty of storage space for our personal stuff, too. The location is an easy drive from the major tourist attractions downtown.

    I frequently stay at Virginia Crossing when I have business in Richmond. In my opinion it’s the best hotel for the money. The grounds are immaculate, the staff is A+ and the rooms are perfect. The breakfast buffet is delicious as well as the dinners in The Tavern. Both are just a walk across the beautifully landscaped courtyard. I can’t say enough about Virginia Crossing. I’m looking forward to staying again soon.

    This property was absolutely beautiful. Amenities were well maintained, and staff were extremely polite and professional. The best surprise of all was that the food, both the breakfast buffet and the dinner Tavern, was absolutely delicious. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again.

    The hotel is located on a beautiful property. The staff was wonderful and welcoming and the breakfast buffet was amazing, as was the dinner I had at the Tavern. Overall I enjoyed my stay and wished I had given myself more time. The bed was also super comfortable and I slept really well, (which I don't often do when staying at hotels).

    Everything. It’s the perfect spot in Richmond. No need to go out to dinner or breakfast. They have both available in The Glen restaurant and The Tavern Restaurant. Both venues offer delicious meals right on the property.
