    Great hot breakfast with hot cinnamon rolls, an automatic pancake maker, milk cartons. To go breakfast options were available too. Staff was kind and the room was updated and clean. All amenities were great for a business trip. Nice lighting, a good desk and chair to work in the hotel room. A comfy bed and good parking.

    Overall, a good place to stay for 1 night. Breakfast was ok, but paled in comparison to the breakfast at the Quality Inn in Cortez.

    The room was very large and very clean with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent and dinner was as well. Having a dog run was really nice as well.

    Really enjoyed our stay at the Raton Pass Motor Inn - nice to find unique, comfortable accommodations for the same price or less as a generic and often mediocre chain hotel. The property was well-maintained and loved the theme rooms and retro decor. The location was great, close to I-25 and within walking distance of town. Friendly owners, free coffee and nibbles to start the day and a quiet night’s sleep - what’s not to like?

    The motor inn was easy to find. If you are heading north on 25 take the last exit for Raton; if you're heading south on 25 take the first exit for Raton. There was hot coffee and a cold breakfast. Quite appropriate. The owners were gracious and accommodating. The rooms were thematically decorated.

    The breakfast was excellent! There was a variety of breakfast items to choose from. Dinner at Mulligan's was also great! Good food and great service! The beds were comfy and the rooms were clean.

    We appreciated that in a town where there were not many options for where to grab dinner, the host contacted us the morning of our reservation and offered to move us upstairs into a room with a kitchen at no additional charge. That ended up meaning that we could prepare our own dinner, and made our stay much more pleasant than it otherwise would have been.

    Exactly as described: no frills clean 60s style motor inn. I didn't swim while there, but the pool looked clean and well maintained and they offer pool towels
