Cheap and cheerful. The receptionist was particularly friendly and helpful, and gave us a great steer for an excellent Thai dinner just a walk into town.

The Atomic Blue Motor-Inn is a gem in the Utah roughness! The room was fresh and clean and very vibrant with cool retro touches. Will definitely stay here again when I return to Utah for more explorations.

This place was really nice. Good beds, facilities, and great staff. It is an old Motor Inn that has remodeled, and fixed up really nice. Was traveling with a group of friends that stayed at another chain motel down the road and they told me that I had picked the best place.

The Grist Mill Inn was a pleasant surprise. Nice to arrive in the evening and find that the restaurant and bar were still open. Squeaky floors and wonky stairs added to the charm.

Location was great. Room was nice and clean. Everything worked well. A short stay but we’d recommend it to others. We liked parking right on front of the room. Effortless to load and unload our bags. We arrived later than expected and the night staff helped us find an open restaurant where we could get a late dinner which was very good.

I've stayed here before when it was named something different. Still owned by the same folks but the name change was basically a marketing thing the desk clerk said. Location is the main benefit of this property and the fact that everything is ground floor and you can park in front of your door, hence motor-inn. The following isn't the motel's fault but I thought I might mention that many of the restaurants in Monticello were closed "for the season" which supposedly ends the last of September.

This cute motor-inn in Monticello was neat and clean. The 1950's retro decor in the room was fun. Our room had 2 queen beds, TV, a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. WIFI was good. We enjoyed meeting the friendly and helpful receptionist who had some restaurant suggestions. Like the name implies, you park your vehicle in front of your porch by your door, which is very convenient.
