Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
We loved the proximity to the beach and also the food market. The kids loved the pool and spa.
The food truck outside (maybe Mad Dog) was delicious!! And the gentleman that works at the hotels restaurant was absolutely lovely! He sits out the front of the hotel at the beginning of the night and then moves in around the pool. You have a lovely Aloha spirit. Thank you.
The Standard Queen room was clean, cool, and comfortable. Smooth check-in and shuttle services thanks to excellent staff. Arrived after bar/restaurant hours, but 24hr kiosk has muffins and snacks for vegetarians and hot meaty options if needed. This large old airport inn is for relaxed layover travellers and retro-appreciators who don't mind a little crumbling around the edges. Will probably stay again on my next layover.
+ check in process was wonderful, staff was friendly & explained thoroughly
+ valet parking guys are efficient & kind, best valet service experienced in a hotel
+ location was prime, walked every night to dinner within 15 minutes and convenient all around
+ housekeeping staff was detail-oriented & left room in pristine condition daily
The location. 3 mins to Waikiki Beach.
Buses at the front of building.
Shop across the road had a lot of things you might need, breakfast lunch dinner, come supermarket.
The room was huge. Loved the wooden floor. Very stylish with eye for detail. And really different to all the rather standard rooms you will find in most places. The view at the park and diamond was stunning. And total privacy. Loved the morning on the balcony with the birds and tranquility.
This place is at the end, or the beginning of the beaches, and far away from the chaos further towards Waikiki. It is a good 10 minutes walk to Waikiki and the big hotels. But you can get a bike (5 minutes ride) from the hotel for free!
The staff was so nice from beginning to end. The location was within walking distance to the main strip which was VERY convenient. Air conditioning worked good and barely had to Wait for elevators. Water pressure was really strong in the bathroom.
The people managing the inn are really friendly and the chef prepares a great breakfast.
The building is an old house with lots of charm and our room had a lot of character while also being very clean and having all the comforts.
The backyard is gorgeous as well as the patio where you can have breakfat.
Only the last day, we found out that there were beach chairs and towels available forthe guests for free.
Great to visit Oahu by car: free parking, quiet neighborhood but still close to the highway.
Location was good and so was the breakfast, The Inn is understaffedso service was not up to par. Innkeeper Lisa was very nice but was overwhelmed with work,
