The room was pretty basic, but has a balcony right over Bear Creek. Sitting on the balcony listening to the creek made this inn one of the highlights of our trip

The location is great. It's just off the strip so you can still walk, but you get the quiet you wouldn't get in another location. The creek is really nice and peaceful. We could see trout from our balcony. The beds were comfortable and it looked like the rooms had recently been renovated. There was also a nice group sized picnic table on the 2nd floor where we had our dinner.

Loved how close the property was to the parkway for the cost. Staff was extremely friendly. Was able to get our 2 rooms side by side for the family. I was little skeptical at the beginning but when I opened the door was really surprised at the remodel. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean. Will definitely stay there again.

This hotel was grimy, dirty, and felt like something out of the sinning hallway. Now in a good way. The room smelled of mildew and stale air. The items in the room ex flooring, bathroom fixtures and tile were gritty and filthy. I have stayed at a verity of hotels in many price ranges and this was terrible. It was not worth the price point. I would never recommend this to anyone. I have been to many Microtels and this was no where near my expectations.

Overall, staff was excellent and accommodating. Breakfast was pretty decent. Parking was perfect. The inn itself needs a good scrubbing, new carpets and paint. I wouldn't change a thing as far as architecture or the character of the rooms.

Staff was Very friendly. The breakfast was very good. Location was right in the middle of Gatlinburg and in walking distance to almost everything. It being a historic Inn and an old (very well cared for) building was exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be staying there again.
