Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
the location of the Tunnicliff cannot be beat. We went during HOF weekend so you are going to pay a bit more. BUT the ability to walk to the HOF Museum, parade, and other venues was well worth it. It is a historic inn. So with that comes stairs and slightly uneven floors. The room was large with a very comfy king size bed, mini fridge and large TV. I had NO issues with the WiFi. I was so glad we chose the Tunnicliff inn. Also, the staff was amazing and very helpful. Thank you!
Breakfast was very tasty. We did not realize at the time we booked our stay that we had booked for a night before the baseball hall of fame induction weekend. Even though the White House Inn was fully booked for the weekend, staff was very attentive and helpful to us. We love our stay.
Great location close to the Baseball Hall of Fame. This is an old inn so you have to expect older furnishings and decorations, and as such it was charming. The bathroom was old-fashioned but was roomy and had a lot of shelf space. Free off-street parking is very close by. TV was fine.
Classic early 60’s structure completely renovated with new HVAC for each room. Our room was small but very adequate. Bathroom was modernized but be prepared to do deep knee bends to use toilet if you are 6’ or taller. Restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast.
The location for our quick trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame was wonderful! The innkeeper’s insights on free parking spots and places to eat was helpful.
The Tunnicliff Inn is conveniently located within steps of Main Street. Never needed my car. Able to walk everywhere. If you enjoy old buildings, the Tunnicliff was built in 1802. Great character property
