Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Location :) We were right next door to a Safeway (and other food options), just a short walk over. I'll add that this didn't mean an increase in noise that night; it was pretty slow and quiet at 8pm when I went over for some handy groceries/dinner.
Surprisingly pleasant! Nice, clean, no odors. Although we didn’t stay for breakfast, we did enjoy the recommended “Dish Room” for dinner, a restaurant that is quite popular there with the locals, and now with us. There must be a real chef working there, adding to the surprise of our stay. We would definitely stay here again if we come back this way.
I love this little old school motor inn. The people who run it are super nice and room is very clean and comfortable. If you are one of those Karen/Kevin wannabes and complain about every little thing you won't like it here. But if you don't need a brand new hotel with all kinds of bells and whistle this place is for you. It's an older property that is well cared for with comfortable rooms and beds. I will stay here anytime I am traveling to Colorado. For the money this place is perfect for me.
I just needed/wanted an inexpensive, clean, comfortable, safe place to stay for the night. Chaparral Motor Inn delivered on all of that. The staff was friendly and the included breakfast was good and made for a quick start in the morning.
The manager was extremely accommodating. He let us see our room before we checked in just to make sure we were happy with it. The room and bathroom vanity area have been beautifully updated. The bed was so comfy. We asked for a microwave, and they delivered one to our room. I believe the manager and his family live on site, and that was comforting. The manager gave us great recommendations for restaurants for dinner. We were very happy with our stay!
Employee was very helpful and accommodating. The price was great, the bed was very comfortable (room 206), good water pressure in shower, and overall extremely satisfied. Employee also recommended the city room for dinner and it was outstanding.
