Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The breakfast was great………real food like eggs, sausage & potatoes instead of just pastry. Also, we were very impressed with the hostess/receptionist! When we asked for a dinner recommendation, she actually called to make us a reservation!!
The staff was very welcoming, the dinner was delicious. There wasn’t any breakfast served in the hall, but select breakfast bars and water in our room. Loved our clean room! We loved being able to roam around the castle and check the rooms out.
A beautiful old city on a sunny night, dinner at Lorenzo's Southside and a walk across the Mohawk River on the new pedestrian walkway. A respite from a long day of traveling.
The building is incredible and the rooms, well appointed and unique. It was exceedingly comfortable and spacious, with a lavish bathroom and lots of cupboards. The history of the place is what drew us and we enjoyed looking around the rooms and enjoyed the art. The dinner was excellent and the staff were professional and courteous.
Breakfast was not available. Dining room was only open for dinner.
