Excellent location, the room we had was relatively small but clean and full of light. The Inn has a self-service coffee/snack bar available around the clock, which was a lovely touch.
It is very rare to find a wash basin that does not have algae or stains at the drain and overflow. This to me, is a sign that the cleaning staff are meticulous at what they do. Cold and room temperature water dispensers are conveniently located on every floor. 2 sets of washers and dryers are available in the basement. You may have to queue for them during peak hours (after dinnertime).
The location of the inn is excellent as it is conveniently close to Yanchengpu Station. Our room was exceptionally tidy and spacious, and the facilities appeared to be new. We particularly enjoyed the cozy Japanese decoration and the delightful fragrance of the toiletries, which enhanced our overall stay. The staff members were friendly and always ready to assist. They were easily reachable via phone or messaging, promptly addressing any inquiries or requests we had.
Location was a 5-min walk from Ruifeng Night Market so late-night dinners are not a problem. There is a convenience store and a supermarket between the hotel and Ruifeng so that was also very convenient. The staff who checked us in was a friendly lady who stayed back to allow us to check in late. No issues with the room at all. Looks exactly like the photos in the website.
The staff is incredibly friendly and were helpful in making dinner reservations for us since we don't speak Chinese. Our room had a nice view of the city and mountain background from the 14th floor, and the laundry room was a plus. They have afternoon snacks and it's a short walk from the Liouhe Night Market and MRT stations.
I like the whole concept. The room rate is very reasonable for a hotel that's in the center of the city. Their afternoon tea is a winner. I'll surely recommend this hotel to my friends who'll be visiting Kaohsiung. Overall experience, great!!!!!
