Wow, the best place we stayed in in Taiwan and one of the best in general
Friendliest owner, really helpful and super nice, took care of everything we needed and more.
The place is beautifully designed, well lit, great AC, comfy beds, a lot of parking outside and a small free lot of there's no place.
The location was amazing, a few minutes walk from everything you need in the old city but not inside the mess, so it's airy and quiet and never crowded.
The owner, again, was so nice and attentive, we could feel he really cared for all our needs

It has a beach view, you can see the sunset and ocean. it is a small inn, but good to stay for a night, it is close to the park and kentting area. The owner was so friendly., there is parking area in front of the inn.
Very good food, both breakfast and dinner, as well as facilities. The room was large enough to accommodate three children which made the stay convenient for the family.
Top bunk capsule is spacious and has a high ceiling (unlike bottom bunk capsule which seemed like a coffin!). Light and plugs and even shelves. Decent shower. Quirky and rustic. Definitely not modern but this hostel has character. Great location on the Main Street. Owner is friendly.
I found the property to quite nice. There is a washing machine and a small space to have dinner, the oven was a good addition. The beds are comfortable as well.
When I arrive this homestay, the staff is doing the cleaning. Luckily I am able to get the room after a short while. This is good! However, the staff is busy doing the cleaning and I am unable to ask her anything about Hengchun or paid the room charge before I left the room. When I came back after dinner, I finally met someone that I can speak to, paid the room charge and borrow a knife and plate. That is a bonus. The room is at a very reasonable price, so that is at my expectation.
Room is big and comfortable. Everything you need is there except towel. The inn is close to the night market and you can find varieties of local foods.
We enjoyed our stay at Cloud Inn very much. The service and the staff were excellent. The rooms are tastefully designed in zen style. Breakfast was prepared with fresh fruits each day and the hotel is surrounded by lots of seafood restaurants. Houbihou was a great base to explore Kenting National Park far from mainstream tourism.
