    Smålandsgarden is a stunning place, situated right at a lake and with a very calm atmosphere. The room is decorated in a simple Scandinavian way. There's no TV set which somehow adds to the tranquillity though. Breakfast and dinner were both good, too. Everything at a reasonable price by Swedish standards. Staff has been very friendly.

    We really loved the place more than expected. It was just an overnight stay on our way to Aland but we will defintely come back for a longer stay. The room was cosy, the whole property is made with taste and a big heart! Very nice breakfast and dinner in a kind of family environment. My partner asked for some veggie Dinner and without eye rolling or discussion she got a tasty meal as well. Nothing what we missed. Next time we will try the sauna and hot tub and maybe have a swim in the lake! The Place is like a photo calendar dream!

    Beautiful location, and easily reached by car. Charming room in the castle part, spacious room, comfortable bed, nice interior. And what a view to lake Vättern, beautiful sunset. Good dinner and breakfast.

    Easy to find and welcomed at the door on arrival by Anneka (the host). Quick and friendly handover of keys, apartment tour and sharing what to do in Granna (we just did everything recommended and it was perfect). Coffee, milk, drinks, freshly baked cinnamon buns - all provided ... a lovely touch Anneka (Thanks) Ideal location for shops, local walks and great view from the apartment - bikes available free for rides. Apartment was immaculate and well catered - hot water for the shower

    Stunning views of Lake Vättern. The location and whole environment here is just lovely. Comfortable and very clean room. Helpful, friendly staff. Delicious dinner at the restaurant. This is one of our favourite hotels in Sweden.

    We loved the old style of the main building and our room was comfortable. We had a great view of the lake and a really good hike route into town. The breakfast was very good and our dinner exceptional.

    The accommodation is perfect - beautiful view from the bedroom in the garden and on the sea, well equipped kitchen and a very clean bathroom. Very special: the very nice hosts and the delicious cinnamon buns as a welcome. One day was unfortunately much too short, we will be happy to come back.
