The hotel is in the old town center, extremely beautiful and the staff was extremely kind and helpful, they even granted us a complimentary breakfast due to arriving very early to see the goat market, but unfortunately missed it.

We stayed two separate nights at the Bait Alharah, before and after our mountain trip, and it was a little oasis for us. Perfect location to explore Nizwa, beautiful roof terrace, very special and beautiful design of our room. We were in the room towards the street and even though there is a construction site across the road, the noise was on a minimum level and we slept wonderfully. The price-quality ratio was the best one we experienced during our Oman roundtrip. Thanks again also for the quick responses via WhatsApp and the flexible and great support!

The owner of this hostel is very polite and nice , the place is simple and very close to the old market ..I like that there is an outside courtyard and small garden ..perfect place to enjoy cup of tea in the early morning
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
wonderful place. a little hard to locate. make sure that you put bastion inn in cab location to reach here otherwise the cab will leave you middle of Nizwa fort.
The place is amazing. free dates and coffee. Sita, the host is wonderful person. The owner was also friendly
Staff were very nice and hospitable. Inn was beautifully decorated and made for a very nice authentic stay. Loved the swing with the palm trees. Pool was an added bonus.
My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Alaqur Inn. Ammar was incredibly kind and accommodating of our late arrival and Mr Ali who we met at breakfast was also happy to answer all our questions about Omani culture. The location is just a stones throw away from the souq and is perfectly located to explore Nizwa and the surrounding areas. Would highly recommend!
The rustic feel that was inkeeping with the area. Location was great for strolling around the endless winding streets and souqs. Rooms were minimalistic which suited us and the bed was super comfy after a hard day.
The house is literally in the heart of Nizwa old town. It is a very unique experience and the inn is truly one of a kind. We received a warm welcome from the host, who was very friendly and helpful. The entire place was very clean, and the beds were perfect. The pool is heated and perfect for relaxation.
We had an amazing experience in Nima Guest House. The owner, Hossein, is a very kind and laid-back person, he made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms are tidy and spacious, the prices very reasonable. The house has a nice terrace where free coffee and tea is offered for the guests. There’s a well-equipped kitchen, and you can do your laundry for 1 OMR. It’s centrally located, a 5-minute walk from the fort and the souq. It was very calm and quite. We returned to stay there for a second time.
This 3 bedroom guest house is set on the edge of the Jebel Shams canyon, just above the start of the W6 balcony walk. The view is stupendous from the 2 front rooms. The room is value for money. The addition of an outdoor chair from which to admire the view was welcome. It had a good range of English language TV channels which was welcome. The set dinner was delicious with a variety of dishes and the breakfast was good too. The bed was very comfortable. Our host Mossan could not do enough for us: he was extremely helpful and obliging.
What not to like? Perfect stay at Sama Al-Khutaim, thanks to Mohsin, who made sure that we were taken care of. The hotel (or the guest house, rather) is a few yards away from the start of the Balcony Walk, the main attraction. We loved the fact that there were very few guests staying (3 rooms only), as it gave a family vibe, which was really nice. The food we had for dinner and breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Can only recommend! Careful! You must have a 4WD to reach the hotel. A normal car won't go up those hills and rough terrain!
