The breakfast was cold ...lousy.....
The room had no ventilation..we were in a smoke free room but opening the door next room smoking on the balcony. We were shocked the state of the place...bugs in room dead on walls...only ventilation opening door yet on a very busy road.. I needed to go to hospital next day but got such a lousy night's sleep. For the money we paid €115.00 it was a disgrace. We will NEVER go back and NEVER recommend it to anyone!! It was a real DIVE of a place

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. the Food was very good and it was in a good location for easy access to Maastrict. There were lots of cycle and walking areas nearby. My room was small but adequate, clean with a comfortable bed.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Vijlerhof is located at the beginning of Vijlen, the self-proclaimed only mountain village in The Netherlands. It’s a nice village with lunch rooms, small shop and bakery. The view from both the hotel and village were good. The room was very comfortable with a balcony. Staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet generous.
Pleasantly surprised by how spacious and comfortable our twin room in this hotel was, also with a good modern bathroom. Simple furnishing. Friendly staff. Good breakfast spread in the morning and could have had dinner, inside or out, but we chose to cross the border to Aachen for the novelty of eating dinner in Germany.
