Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The position from the hotel very good, no far from the town. Near there are some tavernas, you do not need to drive with the car to the town, where there is a lot of parking in centrum.
I was there at the beginning of May and it was quite cold at night. Unfortunately there was no heating. The room downstairs had a small kitchen but.. outside, in the fresh air. Toilet was also ouside. To got there we had to go to the terrace. About 2 weeks after the stay I got the message that the owner cancelled our stay.. it was weird and I had to clarify it with booking since we have paid in cash.
Everything! Natasha and Alex make this place so wonderful. Its got a great vibe. The decor is both modern and rustic. Attention to detail in the dorms was spot on. Loved the balcony, added little bonus to sit in the sun .My mum (77 ) first time in a hostel and was really happy she'd tried one out. This place is like 3 mins down to the centre strip and main square of Ohrid and the Lake. Alex gave us a lift to the airport which was super nice of him. Nothing was too much trouble and it really was a fantastic stay.
The vibe in this hostel was amazing. Beyond a guest, the host makes you feel very special and really tries to integrate you as much into the city life and all the plans. They even prepared one nice traditional dinner for all the guests that was truly delicious. I felt like an old friend and can't recommend this place enough for the excellent energy.
The hotel consists of several building complexes built on different levels. We had a very large room with a jacuzzi and a fantastic view over the lake. The bed was large and very comfortable. Not to forget the pools and the great breakfast, where nothing was missing, there is no lunch or dinner, but restaurants are within walking distance. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Vila Bisera is in a good location for exploring Lake Ohrid and its sights.
Had such a great time here, Filip, Winnie and Sachko were so all welcoming, kind and full of great information. They’ve created such a beautiful, fun, friendly vibe and you instantly feel like family. The hostel itself is very cute, in the old family home and they have so many great plans for it coming up, I can only see it getting better and better, good luck guys!
Our host Liljana is very friendly and helpful person. We easily find the place, that apartment in a perfect location in Old Town. You can easily go by walk in town. The room has a great lake view, it's also very cozy. We couldn't use the balcony because of the rain and cold but I think it will be amazing in sunny days. We easily find what we need prepare a dinner in kitchen.
The room and the two terraces had a great lake view, it was lovely to have a dinner/breakfast on the terrace. The room was nicely decorated. The amenities were good, there was a kettle, coffee, hair dryer, toiletries, the shower was great. The location is in the old town, which involves climbing some stairs, but still just about 10 min walk both to the city center and to the spectacular Church of St John.
