We stayed for 3 nights at suite villa with private pool and it was so nice that we were sad to leave.
When we first arrived here, we got a little scared, as the villa is located (seems like) in the middle of nowhere, with very few places around it, however we soon fell in love with it.
The villa itself was very clean and comfortable. The first night there we had a feeling like we were sleeping outside because we could hear every little insect from the outside making their noises, but got used to it after one night. Very nice experience :) The bathroom was very cool too!
In the villa you can order breakfast, we tried it for one morning and ended up eating breakfast there every morning because they bring you breakfast to your own terrace and you can eat and enjoy the view at the same time.
The villa also offers to take several tours. First day we took the tour we liked our driver/guide so much that we took another tour the next day as well. He not only took us around and gave us time to enjoy the sights as long as we wanted but he also explained a lot of cultural things and shared stories which we really appreciated. Thank you once again!
The staff is also great, we were greeted by such a sweet guy, he helped with our things, showed us around, and came by our room later to take our breakfast order. The staff that were on shift when we left was also great, again helped with our things, offered water and coffee while we waited for a driver. Also, they were huge help because after we checked-out we were having trouble getting a driver to come pick us up, so the staff called the driver/guide that took us to the tours, who helped us to get to the other location without prior notice. Thank you very much!
Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this villa for others :)
However be aware that to get to the nearest restaurant you have to climb a very steep hill. It was not a problem for us :)

Wonderful place, fortunatly location is outside of main road of ubud, it is in the small street that you can arrive only by walk or scooter. It's really nice walk by the way, in the middle of ricefields.
The room and pool were amazing, breakfast and their fresh juice also.
If i would be back in Ubud, sure i will stay here again.

The location of this stay was perfect. It was slightly hidden in the back making it a quiet place to rest. The staff were also kind enough to let me do a late check in as I was coming from the airport. Good value for money.

Spacious room surrounded by nature. Nice terrace with a table and 2 chairs so you can enjoy your time at night..but remember that there may be bugs, but also butterflies, frogs, lizards, many and different kind of birds. That makes this place even more beautiful.
All facilities were provided as written, with a small refrigerator and a kettle.

1st-off - DESWA is not an Inn - it is 2 rooms within the Warsa Bungalows Development which has got really bad reviews here on booking.com. I only found out when I was checking in. The owner was as smart as to take 2 renovated rooms out of the equation and name them after his daughter .
2. I cannot understand the great reviews for I cannot find many positive features about the room.
If you call your place an "Inn" it should somehow have something in common with an Inn. Staff was mostly grumpy, not visible or busy with watching videos.
One positive thing is the pool. It is of decent size and the water is clean.
Read the reviews of Warsa Garden Bungalows to get the right picture.
I could write a lot more but I do not want to waste my time on this place.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The location on the valley with the views, all the green, the height differences, its all beautiful and so serene.
The staff is super, really friendly and helpful. The restaurant is good and although it's in a very quiet town there are still other nice places to go to doe dinner. We had the villa with private pool and we loved it
The staff and the views make this a perfect stay in paradise! The cultural elements, too, we absolutely loved, e.g. the traditional Balinese dancing and music at breakfast and dinner. Every member of staff is polite and friendly and will do everything they can to help you and make your stay perfect.
We would 100% recommend this hotel and hope to be back. The views are to die for and the trips and entertainment offered are brilliant.
Absolutely incredible, stunning views, stunning villa, the staff are so kind and helpful. The rooms are big, with a gorgeous outdoor bathroom. They have thought of everything, even had bug spray in the rooms, although the villas have all had a chemical treatment to keep mosquitos and most bugs away. We stayed here for our honeymoon and had the candle light dinner which was so so special they lay out rose petals with our names and the food was delicious. Everything about this place is amazing.
Beautiful setting and view. Lovely private pool. Big room, comfortable bed. Very private. Good location for exploring Ubud and Kintamani areas. Awesome to hire a motorcycle from Villa. They made it very easy. You need to be aware there are many steps, the step down into the bathroom is a big one. Also know there are no lunch or dinner options at Villa. The walk to lovely restaurants nearby takes only 10 minutes, but the hill is steep.
Peaceful location, compared to Ubud central. You can get breakfast and dinner delivered to the room to eat from the balcony overlooking the rice paddies.
An easier question would be to ask what we didn’t like - nothing!
From the moment we arrived at Nau Villa Ubud we were met with the best customer service I have ever experienced. The staff are truly one in a million and no ask is too much effort.
We loved every second of our stay from our romantic dinner on the first night, where the staff pulled out all the stops to make it extra special. To our private day tour to a floating breakfast in our own pool. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.
Very friendly staff and well managed property.
We reached late in the evening still they welcomed with best of their efforts.
Informed as well in advance to make a choice for dinner as the kitchen was closing and got the dinner delivered to our villa before chef leave.
I personally enjoyed this place because I got to see how the locals live. I enjoyed training with the locals even though the gym is old and messy. Just go with it. The villas are beautiful, rustic and surrounded by rice fields which was good for my soul and eyesight. There are two larger resorts within walking distance that are great for food. This is not for people who want a fancy stay. It is a humbling experience that will fill you with gratitude.
The room was amazing, clean, modern and great little extras, this was a lovely touch!
The pool area is nice and calm as most rooms have their own pool so not many people use the main pool which means it’s lovely to relax.
The food, wow. The food is amazing, breakfast options are fantastic, afternoon tea lovely and dinner was also special, though if not all inclusive, expensive!
The entire experience at this hotel was amazing! From the beginning everyone was so welcoming, and we enjoyed the welcome drinks and cart ride to our room. The room was incredible! It was beautiful and we loved the privacy and having our own pool. It was wonderful being able to open up all the sliding doors. The restaurant was also great (you can't beat the view), and breakfast and afternoon tea were included. We also ate dinner there, and all agreed it was one of the best meals during our trip.
