Breakfast and dinner wee excellent. Food was excellent, beautifully cooked, well presented by friendly staff. I was able to mix and match the menu to meet my needs. I invited friends along who also loved the food.

Nice inn, located in a small village. Lots of parking spaces. There are only two rooms, in a building adjacent to the inn. The room we had was lovely decorated and clean. Very warm atmosphere. The manager was friendly! Food and beer selection both good. Nothing too fancy, but we had a nice dinner and breakfast.

The City Arms has a lot of char, in the age and history oc the building. It's in a great location for walking everywhere in the city.
We were given a friendly welcome.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
When we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff and offered a complimentary drink of our choice. The room was beautiful and clean. We loved the toiletry products and the fact that there were sealed bottles of water in our room. We had recently stayed in a pub which was only slightly cheaper and the Swan Inn was far superior. The food was good quality and the service was excellent. The verandah and gardens are very pretty, set in picturesque countryside and a quiet location.
Big room. Clean. Laminated floor. Comfortable firm beds. Spacious bathroom. Quiet surroundings. Easy parking. Good breakfast. Well cooked poached eggs but small. Dinner - service was very slow.but friendly.
Greeted by Sam, the manager, on arrival, very helpful and friendly. Mark behind the bar exceptional customer service. We loved the feel and vibe of the Swan Inn, a hidden treasure. Friendly locals. Very handy location to visit Cheddar, Wookey Hole.
We hadn't stayed at the Woodborough Inn for a while, and we were pleasantly surprised by the rooms which have been refurbished. We were attending a friend's birthday party in the evening which was within walking distance which made the whole thing very easy. The staff was super friend, and available if we had any question. Strongly recommend this place.
Amazing food. Very clean and comfortable. Large room and surprisingly quiet. Staff were so polite and helpful, especially Ruben and the lovely lady who served my dinner. Would definitely stay again
My family of 14 stayed at the Woodborough Inn for my parents 50th wedding anniversary celebration and the venue, staff and food far exceeded our expectations. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating, the pub and rooms were extremely clean and comfortable, and the food was ridiculously good. The whole team makes a serious effort and it shows. If you're looking for a warm, comfortable and value-for-money place for a get together with family or friends, I couldn't recommend this place more!
Very welcoming pub with excellent spacious rooms, well equipped and dog friendly.
Good food with great choices for breakfast and dinner.
Stayed 2 nights on the way to Cornwall.
The room was fabulous, I loved the decor and all the furniture! It was beautiful! A lot of character with so many little touches that made it so special upon arrival! The complimentary coffee and hot chocolate was amazing, and the surprise complementary Prosecco, everything about it made the trip 10x better and made our 1 night stay so lovely! The food was also fabulous, we stayed for dinner and breakfast!
