A charming, cosy English pub, serving locally sourced produce on its modern British menu, and a selection of ales, fine wines, and seasonal cocktails in the bar. Nestled in the quiet, pretty village of Littleton, outside Winchester, it has free onsite parking and free Wi-Fi available.

They made me and my little dog so welcome. A dog bed, toy and treats for him. Very good value and lovely food.

This 4-star Georgian coaching inn offers a traditional pub and restaurant serving fresh local produce. Surrounded by Hampshire countryside, it features individually styled rooms with free Wi-Fi.

Dating back to 1810, The Kings Head is fitted with antique furnishings and fireplaces. It is supposed that the inn was given its present name for its close connection with the family of Oliver Cromwell.

The countryside feel about the King’s Head. All the staff Mark, Francisca and Kirsty were friendly. All the meals were delicious and beautifully presented. Our spacious bedroom with a HD TV to watch the Platinum Jubilee celebrations around the commonwealth. Across the street in the park on the Thursday night the local community had gathered to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee and a large beacon was lit with the traditional speech!

The pub is lovely, with rooms hosted in a very pleasing ‘paddock’ arrangement. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely bed. It had tea, coffee with a Nespresso machine and biscuits, which was a nice touch. There was a smart TV and internet radio, so plenty of entertainment through the wifi. The staff were lovely and the breakfast tasty & good value. We also enjoyed eating at the pub for dinner and the surroundings were beautifully peaceful.

We particularly enjoyed the combination of busy historic inn/restaurant with boutique hotel rooms in a central location opposite the cathedral. The vibe was informal and relaxed but, at the same time, busy. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very quiet. Staff were friendly and enthusiastic.

The location couldn't be more central and the breakfast was great. The room was very large with great attention to details. The restaurant and tavern were two of the best in Winchester and the entire place was very historic. Plus, the staff were all in their twenties and very friendly and helpful. The Old Vine Inn is really "the place" to stay in Winchester.

Location near to town excellent, only a short walk into the centre. Very friendly staff. Brilliant bar with excellent selection of drinks. Room had an excellent shower. Very clean room. Great touch was the fridge on the wall with water and a bottle of beer each day (had to swirtch it off at night though as it made gurgling sounds)! Nice breakfasts. Historic inn with fabulous memorabilia.

Love the oldie rustic feel to it. The beds were comfortable and clean. Bathroom was spacious and the cheeky breakfast muffin kept us full till lunch. Location was perfect for us to get around and we did have a meal in the pub which was handy option when you are to tired to go out for dinner.
