The hotel is competing with the likes of Premier Inn and Travelodge. These offer better value for money than the Waterside, which is looking dated and felt like it is a hotel in decline and lacking investment

Having stayed here before 12 months ago I was happy to book here again. I was visiting two locations and the hotel fell conveniently roughly between the two. It is easy to get to from the M6/M56 motorways. The rooms are quite large so don't feel cramped. The hotel is set back from any roads so no noticeable traffic noise. I learned that this was formerly a Premiere Inn until (I believe) late 2022 so the rooms are pretty much to that kind of spec.

The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. I never heard any noise. The room was clean and exactly what I needed. I never used the facilities as I was meeting work colleagues for dinner but the bar area looked really welcoming.
