Royal Oak Inn, hotel in Wadebridge

Situated in the small town of Lostwithiel, at the head of the estuary of River Fowey, Royal Oak Inn boasts elegant rooms, a restaurant, free Wi-Fi, free parking, and easy access to the picturesque...

Very lovely rooms, excellent breakfast choices and a good pub menu for dinner with lovely specials (I can particularly recommend their mussels if they have them on the specials board!), very friendly staff (& owners, though not sure who were the owners, they didn't make themselves known to us as such, but presumably were on site). The location is lovely in the middle of the village of Lostwithiel and there is plenty of parking available on a first-come first-served basis (we never had an issue, though the pub does fill up in the evenings, which is actually lovely).

Accommodation really lovely and staff very good and friendly. The only thing was in the restaurant for dinner it wasn't good at offering alternatives to allergies which made it very difficult to eat.

The room was separate to the Inn, and situated in the car park. It was clean and tidy and modern. The bed was comfortable and the shower room was a decent size. The air conditioning was a bonus as the room did get warm. Free parking is good. Breakfast was not included, but having the option to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Inn should you wish to is convenient. We enjoyed breakfast and the staff were very helpful and attentive. This was great value for money

The hotel was so quiet it felt eerie reception was on the lower floor and he receptionist was welcoming. Dinner & breakfast we’re on another level although the chap who greeted us at the restaurant was friendly the feeling was apprehensive as not many guest eating there I must say our evening meal was okay being burger & chips But our breakfast I struggled with it as was cold sadly
