Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.

Lovely small guest house which was perfectly clean and tidy. Lovely top floor room with comfy bed and extra dressing space. Breakfast was lovely and hot and fresh and good quality. The owners were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Free on road parking - there was never a problem finding a space and my car was safe there for several nights.

The host was there to welcome us personally, and the prepared rooms were very clean and comfortable. A nice dinner was available at the Blue Peter, walking distance down the road, and a nicely prepared breakfast was served by the host in the morning,

I enjoyed a pot of coffee with my cooked breakfast, opting for sausage, bacon, fried egg, beans and mushrooms, rather than the full Scottish. Very nice it was too. I chose a single room, so it was quite small, as expected. Very clean though, with plenty coffee, sugar, milk and shortbread to enjoy while watching the decent sized tv. I had dinner en route to the hotel, so didn't sample their evening meal offerings.

Warm and nice welcome from our host. She explained everything including the pre order for our breakfast with Scottish specialities and gave us ideas for dinner with phone numbers for reservation. Great stay - clear recommendation!
