The Queen Anne is a delightful pub with very friendly and helpful owners. The food is excellent - we had a Sunday roast - 8 vegetables plus Yorkshire pudding alongside delicious roast meat. The full English breakfast was also excellent. Great Hucklow is a quiet village but centrally located to lots of the attractions of the Peak District. It’s a great option.

our evening meal was excellent and there was a good atmosphere in the pub. The staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. breakfast was good too.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Modern, new and clean, loved the locker room and that you had use of a dog bath if required. Plenty of parking and ev charger. Great there was the cupola restaurant next door for breakfast and dinner. Not far to Indian, fish and chip shop and spar. Dog walks right on the doorstep and only 15 mins to Bakewell.
Dinner was really good, food was great - homemade steak pie was very good and clearly chef's own pastry. Veggies good if a bit cold! Decided to go elswehere the second night.
Our stay at The Moon Inn in Stoney Middleton was pleasant overall. The room was tastefully decorated and comfortable, with a particularly nice shower and spacious bathroom. While the breakfast provided felt homely and satisfying, we were taken aback by the limited options and additional charges for a full breakfast. The internet connection was reliable, which was especially appreciated as we were travelling for business. Overall, it's a nice place to stay, conveniently located close to our workplace in the North
The apartment was surprisingly spacious and beautifully clean. It had everything we needed. The apartment block itself has great extras like a dog bath and boot wash perfect after a muddy walk in the peak District. Great location with an Indian, fish and chips and pub (the moon inn) all within a 5 minute walk. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting an affordable peak District stay.
It was a lovely, homely place to stay. Loved the rustic feel to the room with all the deer themed accessories.
The room was spacious and clean! Loved the big walk in shower and lovely shampoo, conditioner and body wash included.
Staff were lovely and Josh especially went above and beyond for us. We really appreciated it.
If we didn’t have to get back would have loved to stay for lunch. If we are ever in the area we would definitely stay again or pop in for food.
Thank you :)
Location ideal for Chatsworth & Bakewell visit.Dinner in the restaurant was very good.Staff very welcoming and accommodating. Rooms were nicely furnished.Breakfast also very good.
We received a very warm welcome on our arrival, we were a group of 10 friends and we had dinner on both evenings in the pub, I would highly recommend this, we had a Sunday roast which was absolutely delicious and left us all stuffed. Breakfast was amazing, a great choice and everything prepared to order so nice and fresh, I had perfectly poached eggs on toast.
All the staff were amazing, welcoming, friendly and we felt like appreciated guests.
It was the perfect location for a walk to the beautiful and historic village of Eyam
The food, both breakfast and evening dinner was excellent - interesting menu choices, good home cooked dishes. Dog
friendly bar and restaurant. Good sized garden at the side for us to be able to ensure our dog could go to the toilet safely.
