My wife happened to be ill from a previous locations poor dinner and so was feeling queasy and hesitant to eat the dinner we had booked. The staff offered her soup and a custom plain cheese for her while I had the full works on room service.

This is our 3rd time staying at the George Inn and the breakfast is one of the best we've had in all our experience of travelling. Freshly cooked and great quality, with good choices. In the two different rooms that we've stayed in, the beds have been so comfortable, and the rooms are comfortable and spacious.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Selected on the basis of dog friendly and this was certainly the case. Stayed on weekend evening and they were very full for Dinner, would suggest making table booking so you are not disappointed as the food is excellent and a good selection of wines to go with it.

This was the best place we stayed in. The dinner and breakfast were amazing. The food was high quality and tasted delicious! We loved eating in their dinning room, it had so much charm. Our rooms were delightful! The room above the pub where me and my husband slept was the best of the four rooms we had. My children had three rooms out the back in a separate building and I would have preferred to have them in the same building above the pub. That being said they were very conformable and had a great time.

A superb hotel. The ambience is excellent throughout. The staff were wonderful, especially Ricardo, who rescued what could have been a poor dining experience. The food was superb at dinner and breakfast.

Very warm welcome by the bar staff when I arrived, I was shown to the the room which was clean and had open beams in the ceiling which was nice. The shower was excellent plenty of hot water and the water pressure was good. Had an evening meal which was very nice indeed, The starter was was very filling. Will defiantly stay again if there are rooms. Disappointed I had to leave before breakfast was on as judging by the dinner menu Im sure it would have be delightful.
