We stayed at the “ Red Lion” for 1 night as we were due to fly out of Exeter airport the next day. We stayed in the apartment, when we arrived we were given a warm welcome and made to feel at home straight away. The apartment was comfortable and cosy with everything you would need. The pub itself had a lovely atmosphere and made us feel more than welcome with lovely food but what stood out was the staff, you were made to feel like part of the family. A perfect start to our holiday.

Everything we needed was in our bedroom, which was spacious and clean. The food was served promptly, and my partner said it was the best steak he’d eaten for a long time. My smokie was unusual and tasty. We had previously had Sunday lunch at the New Inn, and that was very good too.

I loved the huge super comfy bed and luxurious bedding. The shower was large and powerful with lovely hot water. Our breakfast was lovely and tasty with good quality produce. We also had meals in the evening which were also very tasty with plenty of choice. The bar was very welcoming and comfortable and the staff so friendly and helpful. It was really cosy sitting by the log burner watching the rain lashing down outside.

Location, bar, breakfast, friendly staff. Made to feel very welcome.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The breakfast was very tasty and there was plenty. The room was very clean and fresh looking, the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were so friendly, helpful and kind. The dinner I had was really well cooked, very tasty and a generous portion.
We were after a convenient, comfortable, affordable bed for the night and we got it at The Silverton Inn. The included breakfast was nice enough with great, extra strong coffee and staff were friendly.
I opted to stay at Silverton Inn for a wedding in Cullompton. I was greeted by friendly staff who were extremely helpful regarding parking, and with food after a lengthy journey. The breakfast was very tasty and filling. The room was cosy with an incredibly comfortable bed.
The Silverton Inn made a ideal "Night Stop" on our way back to Heathrow from Cornwall. We couldn't have wished for more. The Inn, staff, room, facilities and the food were just perfect.
Excellent dinner menu, breakfast prepared to order and nicely presented.
Rooms well equipped, beds very comfortable.
Would recommend this inn to anyone.
Efficient and friendly staff.
We stayed for the night on the way back from a longer trip. The bar has, I think, been redecorated since our last visit and looked clean and fresh. The bedroom was big and comfy. Breakfast was freshly cooked and plentiful. My only regret is that we got stuck in traffic on the way down and didn't make it in time for dinner.
Staff guided me in and advised of the areas parking areas.
Welcomed at the bar with excellent ale.
Shown to a clean and comfortable room.
Ate only one night in the Inn, an excellent menu and service.
Breakfast was also excellent
Loved the village - friendly people, two good pubs.
Silverton Inn foods were tasty and reasonably priced.
Easy drive into Exeter.
Our room was clean and spacious.
It's an Inn... it was busy but friendly. Food was good and fairly quick. The room was spotless and warm, and had the usual tea and coffee facilities. The bed was very comfy. The bathroom was a bit far from the room but that's an observation not a complaint. Parking was a bit of a concern , typical tiny village streets. I managed to find a place in the square so not too far away. Again just an observation.
