Settled nicely in Suburbia is this little oasis which was great while we visited family nearby
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Traditional English pub with rooms - so pleased to have found this! Ideal location for visiting Bletchley Park & other Milton Keynes attractions, as well as access to local walks. Good value & well cooked dinner menu with several GF options, excellent breakfast. Worth a second visit!
Amazing place in a quiet little village. Staff were lovely and extremely helpful. We were late for dinner that we booked (over an hour, due to traffic getting out of silverstone), and it wasn't an issue.
I liked most things.
What I did not like was the television system - why not have a simple TV like most places like PremierInn. An old customer like myself does not want to be fiddling with phones and paying for programmes that I am not interested in!!
Arrived 30 mins after last order for food orders. Young lady arranged for the kitchen to stay open for my order. Great customer service. Prefer the Guinness than the Camden stout?.
The breakfast was excellent as was the dinner . Very generous portions .
The bathroom was a good size , clean with very nice toiletries .
The bedroom was quite basic but had everything we needed for a one night stay .
Lovely welcome from a young dark haired lad who was working behind the bar when we arrived. Showed us to our room which was very clean but did have slightly dated bedding. Nice big TV in bedroom and great enclosed shower with lovely big white towels. Nice size pub garden for pre dinner drinks but it needed some attention. Little messy in places. Had a fantastic meal in the pub which was faultless. So happy with the food.
Great find, friendly locals and helpful staff. The restaurant food at dinner and breakfast in the morning was excellent.
It was a lovely location and we will definitely visit again.
Fantastic Breakfast menu and tasty food all cooked fresh. It was a nice spacious room with good WiFi and large bathroom.
As long as not fully booked will stay again as much nicer than Premier Inn and better value.
