In the small village of Sheering, this family run Public House offers 12 en-suite bedrooms. The Cock Inn is a family run free house that has been run by the Bedford family for over 20 years.

The Cock Inn hotel is less than 1 mile from the M11 and 1.5 miles from Sawbridgeworth station which is just a 40 minute train journey to London and to Cambridge.

Great character pub with excellent food and staff very helpful & friendly. Room was not large but was comfortable and what I'd expect for pub accommodation. Great value.

Located in Bishop Stortford town centre, The George Hotel Stansted Airport is set in a 14th-century inn, just a 10-minute drive from Stansted Airport. Italian cuisine is served in the Prezzo restaurant, situated within the George, and coffee shops and retail stores are within 100 metres of this guest accommodation.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. A cosy hotel in a cosy little town. The beds were really comfortable, the rum was spacy and nice.

Located only 3 km from Stansted Airport and 500 metres from Hatfield Forest in Takeley, The Green Man Boutique Hotel features free WiFi access and private parking. Airport parking is available on request. Please note that our Deluxe accommodation is located a short drive from the other rooms.

The quirkiness of this hotel and the trouble and value it put into making this people welcome and at home. I would totally recommend this hotel for people having to stay in Stansted as a stop over for an early morning flight the next day

Where do I start, this is a fabulous Inn, one of the best places I've stayed in my many decades of staying at locations all over the UK. Brilliant room, comfy double bed and a first class bathroom. The staff are very welcoming, and I enjoyed having a couple of beers in the bar and chatting with friendly locals. Breakfast was superb and for the price I paid, the value just simply can't be beaten. If I am ever this way again, I'll make sure I book here.

Spotlessly clean, purpose built, modern extension to the Inn has been simply and thoughtfully designed and implimented. Very high laurel behind the rooms affords complete privacy ! Quiet at night. Easy access to dining room in the pub itself where "clean", hot food is served with charm. All the staff were extremely helpful and had a sense of fun and humour. Easy to find with the help of GPS. Ideal for my purpose

The property is in a nice village location. I received a warm welcome and staff were very communicative, friendly and accommodating. The rooms are set apart from the pub so you don’t get any pub noise. The restaurant dinner and breakfast were lovely.

Rooms were nice, clean, airy, Breakfast was full English and was excellent. Free ample parking. Dinner closes at around 8 but the bar is open till 11. The staff was friendly. Overall excellent stay, good value for money. Close to main shops and market. Good for morning meetings or just journaling / staycation. Located in the city vicinity so no to expect countryside views or location.
