Comfortable and spotlessly clean accommodation, specifically considering the budget price. The restaurant was atmospheric and we enjoyed a 1st. class meal. Breakfast was also 1st. class. We shall be returning!

This is an excellent hotel exceeding its rating. A fine example of the best of English hospitality, it sets a high benchmark which other inns and hotels should be aiming at and which in many cases do not. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful and the cleaners do a remarkable job, the inn is spotless. The place is very professionally run. It's a credit to the owners.

Quiet location, perfect stop heading North after a flight into Gatwick. Lovely pub with a restaurant and garden, we had a delicious meal and pint in the bar. Stayed in one of the apartments which was spacious, nicely decorated and a very comfortable bed. Staff were lovely, really friendly and accommodating.

Breakfast was very nice. Evening meal menu not to our liking. Fortunately it was a Friday and the lunch menu was also their takeaway menu so that was okay as there was nowhere else locally to dine. The bedroom was nice

The location was good for us and the property clean, the food we had was really nice
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Fantastic location in the beautiful countryside. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Very comfortable room and bed. Excellent breakfast with unusually varied choice. Great to be able to have an excellent dinner without having to look elsewhere.
A quintessential English country inn. Staff were fantastic, the food was great and the atmosphere was exactly what one would want and expect. Beautiful village.
Great Country Inn in a very picturesque village. Room far exceed what I thought i would be offered and staff were attentive and helpful throughout my short stay. Evening meal was amazing and the Chef is to be applauded for his skills. Breakfast was excellent as well.
It's a lovely old fashioned country pub with a real log fire in the main bar which we appreciated. We had dinner which was delicious and a nice breakfast the next morning. Parking was easy too. The rooms were nicely decorated. The lady who served us breakfast was very friendly and interested in our plans for the day.
