Very good choice for breakfast, just for me bacon, sausages, black pudding underdone. Coffee superb. Great choice of seating areas.
Had the advantage of good weather so could sit outside most of the time. Went with my sister who has to walk with a stick but she managed the stairs to our room on the 1st floor.

The Young Lady working Bar/Reception/Waitress was an absolute asset to the property, so smily, efficient and helpful. Lovely decor, great food and fantastic breakfast served by a lovely waitress.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Absolutely brilliant stay at The Crown Inn, with my children and 2 dogs. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay very much. We loved the food, location, and ambience.
The Pooley Bridge Inn was perfect for our reqirements. The staff are friendly and very obliging. Delicious breakfast and clean, comfortable room. The location is excellent, in beautiful Pooley Bridge so close to Ullswater.
Very nice friendly inn. Room clean and comfortable, great shower. Bed a bit soft for our liking but otherwise fine. Great fish and chips for dinner and lovely breakfast. Very friendly staff especially Rebecca. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if visiting the area.
Excellent dinner the night before in the restaurant and the cooked breakfast didn’t disappoint either. Room was nicely decorated and spotless with all the facilities we needed. Great location. Staff very friendly.
Really enjoyed our stay at Eusebank, a real home-from-home feeling and comfortably sized for us (2 adults, 11yr old and 2 x 15yr olds) ). Messaged the owner with request for info including places to eat and Gillian recommended the best Sunday dinner we have had for a long time, will definitely be returning. Thank you
Great hotel, lovely hospitality from the team and fantastic location. Dinner was great and as I was leaving early to complete a swim in Ullswater they provided a cold breakfast for me. Would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you
Great hotel, amazin staff, made us feel very welcome, great facilities and excellent food, spotlessly clean, cannot fault anything at all. Will definately stay at the Crown Inn again very soon
Lovely location, good food, beautifully clean rooms, nearly all of the staff were great (breakfast staff on morning of Tuesday 25 June were outstanding as was the member of staff who handled our check out). Male waiter doing dinner on our arrival date of Monday 24 June (7 pm) was also very friendly and helpful.
