A quiet little Inn away from all the commotion of the town/city. Friendly staff and an amazing little pub attached with delicious food! The room was very cozy and comfortable as well as very clean. The private bathroom was also very clean with fresh towels brought by every morning and a generously sized tub to soak in. Wi-Fi worked well in the area as well.

The Jolly Drover has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Liss. This 4-star inn offers free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is situated 16 km from Jane Austen's House Museum.

At the inn, rooms come with a desk. The rooms in The Jolly Drover are fitted with a flat-screen TV and free toiletries.

The Jolly Drover was a lovely and - for its low price - outstanding hotel. The room we stayed in was in a separate (new) building next to the historic (but renovated and in good shape), original house. It was clean, comfortable and completely silent during nighttime. The pub / restaurant in the ground floor of the historic building features a lovely fireplace and a nice, clean, cosy and well decorated dining area. The food was remarkable and well above everything we had expected and also the english breakfast we had was delicious and served with outstanding friendliness. Overall, I think it is fair to say, I have not stayed in any nicer place anywhere in the UK so far. Thumbs up and thanks for the very pleasant time we had there!

A village inn in Rake, near Liss, the Flying Bull has a traditional pub and restaurant serving homemade meals for lunch and dinner. Free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi are available, and Petersfield town centre is 5 miles away.

Lovely stay at the Flying Bull, very friendly staff & great food. But it was my room that I thought to be exceptional, very, very clean & this just added to a great experience at the Flying Bull. This will be my 'go to' booking when I travel to the area again. Very well done to all staff at the Flying Bull.

Arrived dusty and dry after cycling across the south downs and greeted by friendly efficient staff. Check in and secure bike storage was quickly and efficiently completed allowing us to get scrubbed up before dinner. After a day eating energy bars the exception food in the restaurant was very much welcomed and delicious. The best steak and ale pie I have ever had I think. Very much recomended.

It’s got a real independent/family welcoming feel about the place and the rooms are cosy and clean. Have had the hot breakfast, lunch and dinner there and all the food was really nice. Obviously the resident dog totally steals the show

The rooms were inviting, very clean and comfortable ... We couldn't fault the service in the pub and restaurant, with a wide range of food to choose from for dinner and breakfast. You would not be disappointed if you stayed at The Cricketers Inn.

The staff are very friendly. Great location for exploring the South Downs. The price is very reasonable for the size and cleanliness of the room. There a spacious pub downstairs with very reasonable prices and the inn is surrounded by nature.
