The Hog's Head Inn - The Inn Collection Group in Alnwick features a terrace and a bar. Built in 2012, this 3-star inn is within 2.1 km of Alnwick Castle and 8 km of Dunstanburgh Castle.

The breakfast was adequate. Unfortunately the hot food was lukewarm or cold. Very little fresh fruit available or croissants/pastries. Also there were no cold meats or cheese as an alternative to a cooked breakfast.

Comfortable for our one night stay. Had dinner in their restaurant which was lovely. Lovely hot shower. Bathroom quite large. We were on top floor so lots of stairs. Breakfast you had a choice of a hot one. It is limited selection wise but my pancakes were lovely. Quiet location,

The Armstrong Manor formally known as The Coquetvale Hotel, was lovely. The new owners were very welcoming and honoured our reservation thru booking.com. They were not expecting us and we were not informed by Booking that The Coquetvale had gone out of business. They readied a room for us as we enjoyed a drink on the house. We had dinner at the pub that is on site and it was amazing!! There is parking on site. The room was spacious and clean. I cannot say enough good about this place. You would not be disappointed when staying here.

friendly staff, gammon for dinner was quite good, breakfast average, bacon and mushrooms very well done, options a bit limited. Twin room clean and comfortable but in the attic, not easy to access with golf clubs. Overall pretty good and fair value for money.

Really enjoyed our stay in apartment 4. The apartment was clean throughout and well equipped for self-catering. The bed was really comfortable. Thank you for the welcome gifts too, nice touch! The apartments are metres away from the nearby shops and pubs but there was never an issue with noise/traffic; I’d highly recommend booking a table at Bewicks Bistro for dinner, the food and service was excellent.

Location convenient. Steak we had for dinner was so much better than we imagined and at a great price. Breakfast choice limited and took a while to be served but adequate and tasty. Only two members of staff that we saw. The lad who checked us in also ran the bar, answered the phone for bookings, served dinner and appeared to serve breakfast too! He was forever cheerful and helpful.
