The interior decor was first class and fixtures were top quality. The Pub layout and selection of beers were compatible with the historic building.

Originally a 17th-century farmhouse, this hotel sits on the edge of the Leicestershire countryside in the historic village of Kirby Muxloe.

The location was perfect for me. The breakfast was great served by a lovely Irish lady who made sure everyone had everything they needed. Really helpful staff.

I asked for a room without a connecting door and that was sorted for me. Food was good. Room is very good. Plenty of parking. Had four separate trips and it's always good.

Lovely pub with rooms. Every member of staff was very friendly and welcoming, particularly Grace. By good fortune we had the king room which we highly recommend. Lots of room, comfortable bed and good en-suite. Food at dinner and breakfast was very good.
