The pub downstairs was cosy and quirky with plenty of seaside charm. The food on the dinner menu was great and the included breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Situated in Penzance and with Penzance Promenade Beach reachable within 1.3 km, The Swordfish Inn features a garden, allergy-free rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. The property is around 8.2 km from St Michael's Mount, 14 km from Minack Theatre and 42 km from Lizard Lighthouse & Heritage Centre. The room was spacious, lots of storage space available. Very comfortable bed. It was all clean, spotless ! Breakfast was really good, I loved "no food wasting policy" and choosing your breakfast the night before. Very friendly stuff, very accommodating. Perfect location, 5 minutes walking to Penzance, but still away from all the busy crowds. It's a dog friendly place, our Charlie was very welcome 😊🐶 It's a great little spot with locals, feels much better and more authentic than other busy touristy places.

Featuring views across beautiful Mounts Bay, The Yacht Inn offers a restaurant and free WiFi access. Located in Penzance, the property is just 5 minutes' walk from the Isles of Scilly Ferry Port.

In the mornings, The Yacht Inn offers a choice between full cooked breakfast and continental breakfast. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are also available.

The Yacht Inn is about a 15-minute walk from the Penzance Railway Station and a mere 10 minutes from the town center. Jubilee Pool Penzance Pool & Cafe is across Battery Road. It was quiet the 3 nights I was there. There is an armoire or closet with ample hangers. The toilet has a wall hook to hang your clothes. The shower has hot water. Enjoyed the marvelous full Cornish breakfast with coffee, juices, some fruits and bread. The staff were very friendly. Due to a railway strike; the Yacht Inn staff was able to extend my stay an extra day with minimal effort on my part.

We have stayed at this lovely little place before with our dog. It's warm, comfy, cosy & well equipped. It's excellently located being just a few mins walk from the harbour, pubs & deli. We had a lovely meal at the Ship Inn overlooking the harbour & we were warmly welcomed as we were on our previous visits. The little buses into Penzance are regular & reasonable with very friendly drivers - £2.50 adult return as of Jan 2024. We look forward to returning again.

Mousehole is a beautiful place and I chose The Ship Inn because it was on the harbour. I had a room with a view and the room was as if it had been newly refurbished. There was housekeeping that sorted cleanliness, towels and biscuits each day:) I was there for a course, reading Shakespeare's Antony and Cleopatra a short walk away in the Solomon Hall. Food and drink can be had in the bar at The Ship, which also has a restaurant and 2 Fore Street, again round the corner had reasonable lunches - great soups.
